How should I pursue Self-realisation?

Now that we have looked into the “why,” let us briefly look into the “how.”

There is no rigid or universal path to self-realisation, because each individual’s background, conditioning, struggles, and movement through life are unique. Hence, guidance is rarely one-size-fits-all.

The guidance that I share openly focus on certain common principles that support this inward journey for those sincerely interested. My deeper guidance, however, is shared selectively with mature participants — not as a form of exclusivity, but to ensure that what is shared is absorbed with clarity rather than confusion.

I will briefly touch upon a few of the common principles here today, while the rest will be shared through subsequent videos, writings and programs.

The first guidance is to clarify your objective.

What are you seeking through spirituality or self-realisation?

Are you seeking well-being, such as reducing your stress or restless thoughts? Are you seeking emotional healing or relief from suffering? Are you seeking intellectual stimulation or energetical experiences? Or are you trying to understand the nature of yourself and reality?

It very often starts with the former and slowly graduates to the latter. Clarity about one’s objective is important, as different objectives may require varying approaches.

The second guidance is to pause and relax the mind.

Today increasingly, we are conditioned to be constantly occupied — working, consuming, scrolling, planning, and becoming more productive.

Even spirituality is being seen as another way to improve productivity.

But self-realisation rarely emerges through constant mental movement. It emerges in pauses — in silence, solitude, and moments of non-doing.

Third, allow yourself to pursue what naturally draws you inward.

For some, it may begin through books and videos.

For some, it may be travel, music or spending time in nature.

For others, it may be meditation, prayers, service etc.

Initially, these activities help deepen your interest and draw your attention inward.

As one progresses, there is a natural inclination to accumulate knowledge and experiences. Yet the real shift begins when the attention moves from accumulation to observation and reflection.

And finally, loosen the preconceptions that you carry about self-realisation and other concepts..

Many individuals already assume that it takes decades, multiple lifetimes, or renouncing the world for going

deeper in this journey. These assumptions themselves become deterrents.

I have already briefly introduced how my guidance is broadly structured under the LEAP and FIRE pathways.

LEAP opens the journey to self-realisation and FIRE brings it to a close, But the space in between is yours to wander, seek, rise, struggle, fail, surrender, question, and discover the mystery in your own unique way.

And know that guidance and support available to you along this journey.
