Approach
"When outer seeking is
exhausted, the mind
turns inward.
When the mind turns inward, an inner seeking begins.
When inner seeking is
exhausted, what
remains is… simply is"
SAGA
Sandeep’s perspectives on self-realisation are offered to both independent seekers and those exploring with traditional paths.
While he encourages one to explore their own inner journey, he also offers guidance for those who seek support, clarity or direction, or simply a sense of friendship along the way.
His guidance is grounded in a simple but often overlooked insight - "Clarity of the self does not come from accumulation or pushing ideas, but from seeing—through silence, reflection and contemplation"
He recognises that spirituality is not a fixed path, and that each individual unfolds in their own unique way. Accordingly, his perspectives may resonate differently and be absorbed to varying degrees by seekers at different paths and stages of exploration.
Note: While the terms “guidance” and “teachings” may be used interchangeably, both are intended in the sense of guidance rather than instruction.
His Teaching Approach
While his teaching approach rests on several
key aspects, the following three form its
core orientation.
First Grounding, Then Deepening
His approach rests on two essential movements:
(1) First, bringing relaxation to the mind through simple yoga & meditation practices, grounded living, and appropriate guidance to navigate emotions and life situations
(2) Second, engaging in deeper introspection and inquiry to penetrate into the nature of self and experience.
“Without grounding, inquiry does not liberate—it distorts. Years of grounded living, meditation, & mental stability provide the necessary base for deeper inquiry"
To support this, he co-developed structured frameworks such as LEAP and FIRE to facilitate understanding, rather than fixed methods to follow. While the teachings under "Skanda Sanctuary" supports the preparation and initial orientation, this space focuses on deeper inquiry into the nature of the self.
Direct Seeing over Conceptual Knowing
At every stage, the emphasis is on direct experience rather than conceptual understanding. Observation—whether of breath, sensation, thought, or reaction—is not treated as practice alone, but as a way of seeing clearly and verifying the effects of the practices by oneself.
Questions are used deliberately, not to arrive at answers, but to expose assumptions and bring the attention closer to what is actually present. Without this, there is a tendency to accumulate knowledge without corresponding clarity.
From Shared Openly to Direct Guidance
His foundational teachings are shared openly and are delivered in structured formats to all participants, however the deeper teachings are shared selectively and not delivered in a fixed format as they are offered in a more personal context depending on the readiness, background, and orientation of the participant. This shift is not about restricting access, but about ensuring that what is shared is handled with clarity over confusion.

My teaching approach is designed to nudge you toward realisation through powerful questioning. The emphasis is not on providing answers, but on revealing the right question, which has the potential to dissolve confusion on its own

Guiding Principles
The following quotes taken from his guidance shared to participants highlights his approach and provides clarity and direction
All paths that promote seeking
Ultimately come to rest in finding the seeker
Only questions can liberate
But not every mind is ready to question
The guidance is the Guru
Not the guide
The self cannot be objectified
And hence cannot be attained, experienced or explained
The journey may begin with seeking experiences,
But what it matures into is equanimity

Orientation
While his teachings resonate with approaches found in Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Zen and Taoism, his approach remains independent — drawing inspiration from these traditions without aligning to any specific system, teacher, or organisation.
